We had our 20 week ultrasound last Tuesday, Feb. 3rd and found out we are having a boy! We are so excited. We had a slight scare when the doctor told us that our baby might have a small hole in his heart called a VSD (ventricle septum defect). Today, I went to have an echogram done and the cardiologist said the heart looks normal. He did say that the heart is so tiny at this point though that there is the possiblity that there could be a hole there and he just can't see it. However, if there is, it will be very minor and more than likely close up. We are so thankful that our baby is heathly so far! He just keeps growing and I'm starting to feel him more. Brandon was able to feel a kick/punch a couple nights ago. The placenta is anterior, so it is acting as a slight pillow for kicks and punches on my tummy at this point . When he gets bigger, we will be able to feel them on the outside more easily.
