Annie and Pawpaw's Visit

We had so much fun this past week. Unfortunately, Annie and Pawpaw brought the hot weather from TN up here :-) . We had 100+ temps most of the week, so it was hard to get out and play, but we did it anyway! It's hard to keep Ed inside and happy over a long period of time. He loves to get out and play and he's in love with his new tricycle he got from Mommy and Daddy for his birthday. Here are a few highlights from the week.....

The first day we took a trip up to our old neighborhood on the Upper West Side and enjoyed some time out in Central Park.

For the 4th of July we had a picnic in the park. That was the first day of our heat wave and you can see how hot everyone is. Despite the hot weather and dead grass, we had fun!

Pawpaw and Ed taking a little stroll. Well, Pawpaw was basically keeping Ed from jumping in the Hudson.

Serious conversation... Probably discussing how we don't eat grass or go swimming in the river.

Ed had a blast going down the slide at the park.

He also discovered he can climb stairs!

We had such an awesome week and hated to see Annie and Pawpaw leave. Ed has had a fantastic month. First he got to spend a week with Cici and Granddaddy while Mommy and Daddy went on vacation. Then a couple of weeks later Annie and Pawpaw came to visit for a week! Ed loves his grandparents so much and he's so lucky to have them! Can't wait to see everyone over Labor Day weekend!
